In fact, there was a time when I probably would have been part of that. Praise God for getting me out of that lifestyle! Even though I really enjoyed the music and the excitement of seeing live bands, I found myself looking around and just being saddened by the brokenness all around us. At any given moment we were completely surrounded by lost souls looking in completely the wrong direction for salvation. It was so blatantly obvious everywhere I looked. We hadn't been there 30 seconds and I watched a group of girls pass by us and I thought, "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I brought high school girls to this...I can't believe I brought myself to this!"

It made me realize that I need to spend more time praying for the lost here in the US. Working at Wycliffe, it's easy for me to only think about the unreached people groups of the world, and I forget about the people right here in my town that haven't heard about God - or at least haven't really heard. Yesterday was a good reminder that I hope I don't easily forget.
